Eric Burt started climbing this mountain before there was a lift of any kind, and kept photographing it as the rope tows went in, then the T-bars, then the first chairlifts. These are scans of his original negatives from the 1950s onward, released now by his family. It's not a single moment frozen in time, it's the growth of a ski resort, caught as it happened.
